Description About the Role We are excited to introduce a newly created Theatre Team Leader role as part of the ongoing expansion of our theatre services, including the introduction of robotic surgery. Opportunities like this do not come up often. In this role, you will join a well-established and supportive senior management team. Rather than leading a specialised team, you will work alongside the other Theatre Team Leaders to collectively oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will work closely with the Theatre Services Manager (TSM) and Theatre Coordinator to support operational excellence across our theatres. You will: Help ensure a consultant- and patient-focused service that is responsive and renowned for quality Collaborate daily with the TSM and Theatre Coordinator on staffing, rosters, and operational tasks Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the department Promote teamwork, communication and a collaborative culture Support strategic goals as our theatre services continue to grow This is a permanent role for 64 hours per fortnight based at Royston Hospital, Hastings Skills And Experiences About You You will bring excellent interpersonal skills, a positive “can do, will do” attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
