Governance Officer Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £32,244 - £33,941 per year 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm We have an opportunity for a Governance Officer to join our Governance and Company Secretarial team, based in Worcester. The team of 7 provide governance and company secretarial services to the Group on behalf of the Company Secretary. The role of Governance Officer will include: • Working within regulatory frameworks • Attending Board meetings (both virtually and in person) and taking minutes • Reviewing and house styling board reports • Liaising with key stakeholders such as Directors and their PAs, Board Members and report authors • Maintaining accurate documentation and managing ongoing and one-off projects • Liaising with people of all levels across the business whilst providing a high level of customer service Skills and experiences: • Recent experience undertaking a similar role • Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to multitask • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads • Very good attention to detail and the ability to keep calm under pressure • Experience of minute preparation and/or minute taking and managing paperwork for meetings • Previous experience of project management and supervising staff would be advantageous • Proficient user of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams Why work for us?
