Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and professional Class 2 (Category C) drivers for ongoing AM-shift work in the Hinckley area. The role involves the safe and timely delivery or collection of parcels and pallets, while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete daily AM multi-drop or trunking routes as allocated.
* Safely load and unload the vehicle.
* Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks and report defects.
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and site compliance procedures.
* Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays or route issues.
* Maintain accurate delivery notes and paperwork.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and customers.
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience.
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Ability to work to schedules and maintain high service standards.
