Residential Support Worker
Location: Earls Barton
Salary: £12.90 per hour (£26,832 per annum)
Additional: Sleep-in payments (£60 per night, approx. £7,200 per year)
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our client's team supporting young people in a residential care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing safe, nurturing, and structured care.
Key Responsibilities
Complete full induction and learn internal systems
Attend fortnightly supervision sessions and staff meetings
Complete all phases of online and face-to-face training
Maintain accurate daily records, reporting, and documentation
Complete home and young person (YP) paperwork
Learn and contribute to Risk Assessments (RA), care plans, and document checks
Undertake QCF Level 4 qualification
Support senior staff and shift leaders
Act as a positive role model for new staff and young people
