Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay Rate: Up to £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join schools in Sheffield. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learning, assist teachers, and help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Role Overview:
As a KS2 TA, you will work closely with teachers to provide support for pupils, helping them engage with lessons and reach their full potential. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment and assist with a range of learning activities.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils’ learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
* Encourage and motivate pupils to stay engaged and achieve their goals.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
* Support pupils with additional needs, where required.
* Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Requirements for KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting is desirable.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Adaptability to work with different learning needs and abilities.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
