Role Overview
As Security Team Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for all things security — the trusted advisor for both staff and leadership. With your keen eye for detail and strong leadership, you'll manage our on-site security officers, ensure rapid incident responses, and implement effective security strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage security staffing and rotas, ensuring full site coverage at all times, covering absences and coordinating agency support as needed.
2. Monitor performance metrics to drive improvements across individuals, the team, systems, and the site.
3. Support investigations, including staff interviews, CCTV reviews, and report writing.
4. Oversee search procedures for staff and vehicles, ensuring compliance and addressing operational gaps.
5. Engage with local operations and stakeholders, leading meetings to stay updated on developments.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in a security role, with industry knowledge.
* Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond calmly under pressure.
* Understanding of health & safety principles.
* Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
* Valid SIA Licence (DS/SG).
