The Opportunity: As a Lead Engineering Technician, your role will include: Providing expert-level support across both mechanical and electrical systems – diagnosing issues, making critical repairs, and keeping production running smoothly. Acting as a senior presence on shift – guiding less experienced engineers and offering practical support where needed. Championing continuous improvement, from asset care routines to equipment optimisation. Playing a vital part in ensuring compliance with safety, operational and quality standards. Maximising the use of the CMMS platform to manage and report on planned and reactive maintenance activity. You'll be central to ensuring equipment reliability and operational performance across a busy, high-spec manufacturing site. About You: We're looking for someone who brings: A strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering – ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) as a minimum. Experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a sound understanding of modern maintenance practices. A hands-on, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of technical issues whether it be Mechanical or Electrical problems Someone with strong PLC fault finding skills A genuine interest in developing others and contributing to a high-performing team.
