Recycling Operatives Wanted – Immediate Start | New Whittington
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work? Looking for a Monday to Friday position with an immediate start? Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is hiring Recycling Operatives for a well-established client in the New Whittington area of Sheffield.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in the waste management and recycling sector — helping to make a real difference to the environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Sorting and manually picking recyclable materials
Separating and moving various types of waste around the site
Removing larger or bulk items by hand
Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Working efficiently and accurately in an outdoor environment
What We’re Looking For:
Physically fit and comfortable with active, repetitive work
Reliable and able to follow instructions and site training
Great team player with a positive attitude
Must have own transport, motorbike, or push bike (due to site location)
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Overtime available and paid at a premium rate
