We're looking for a Junior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic with 1–2 years' experience to join our busy, friendly workshop and progress onto larger, more varied mechanical work.

We're a long-established independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, trust, and excellent customer service. Our workshop carries out servicing, diagnostics, MOT preparation, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
Your Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults (with support where needed)
* Prepare vehicles for MOTs, inspections, and safety checks
* Road-test vehicles after repairs
* Complete service records and job cards accurately
* Work closely with the workshop team and service advisors
Who We're Looking For
* 1–2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic, or Service Technician
* Good knowledge of servicing and basic diagnostics
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
* Keen to learn and develop into a well-rounded technician
* Positive, team-focused attitude
