ROLE: Sales Manager - Washroom Hygiene Products

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager for our Washroom Accessories Division.

Dudley Industries was first established in 1942 and is part of Rentokil Initial Group, we are a sheet metal engineering company specialising in Washroom Hygiene Dispensers.

We are renowned for our high-quality stainless steel commercial washroom accessories and pest control equipment. We also provide contract manufacturing facilities for companies looking for stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel solutions.

We operate an extensive plant list adopting the latest processes and technologies. We are externally audited to ISO 9001:2015.

Job Role Summary

Working closely with the General Manager to implement the strategy for Hygiene Products.

You will be responsible for Hygiene Product sales for use in the commercial, construction, architectural and public sectors in the UK and European markets in order to achieve financial targets through innovation, exploiting new sales channels and developing relationships with existing and new customers.

You will work closely with the production and planning teams to meet customer expectations to deliver quality products on time and in full.

This role has revenue and margin accountability for product sales and is part of the Dudley Industries Management Team.

As our Sales Manager you will be required to:

* Health and Safety - ensure all health and safety protocols are met and enforced.
* Financial Measures - set, agree and achieve P&L budgetary targets.
* Brand Management - work with the Marketing Manager to ensure appropriate branding and messaging reaches target markets.
* Customer Account Management - develop and grow business with targeted customers.
* Market and Competition Insight - conduct market tracking across national and independent customers.
* Customer Service -as the natural 'go to' contact internally and externally liaising with internal colleagues to ensure customer queries and any issues are resolved.
* Manage and Drive the New Product Development process
* Provide regular business performance updates to the General Manager

Essential Skills:

* Detailed sector knowledge and understanding, in an allied category to hygiene
* Proven track record in customer account management and working with supply chains
* Being able to work under own initiative and on occasion under pressure whilst adhering to strict deadlines
* Problem solving
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills:

* Working knowledge of hygiene products
* Working knowledge og Google Suite and/or data management tools

This role has 1 direct report.

The role naturally involves travel to customer sites and working from both the office in Lytham St Annes and from home.

37 hour week / 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

Annual leave is the equivalent of 5 working weeks plus bank holidays. Some leave is expected to be taken over the Christmas shut down period.
