Job Description:
Role Overview: The National Account Manager will promote a high-quality range of engineered wood products, focusing on managing large DIY distribution accounts such as B&Q. The role involves managing one direct report, supporting new product launches, pricing implementation, and liaising with various internal teams.
Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop a major DIY distribution account (e.g., B&Q).
2. Support new product launches and development initiatives.
3. Implement pricing strategies.
4. Coordinate with customer service, marketing, supply chain, and transport teams.
5. Travel nationally, with regular commutes to Southampton.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven sales and account management experience.
2. Experience managing large retail or DIY distribution accounts.
3. Previous dealings with Kingfisher Group are advantageous.
4. Experience selling timber or wood products is preferred but not essential.
5. Strong commercial acumen and ability to establish sustainable contractual agreements.
