Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our men’s first team. The postholder will play a pivotal role in Diagnostics, Injury and illness prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation for our first-team squad.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead in the diagnosis and planning of rehabilitation programmes following injury and illnesses.
•Deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes to maximise player availability.
•Drive injury and illness prevention strategies as part of a collaborative Medical and Performance Department.
•Assist in managing club emergency action planning & processes
•Provide match-day medical cover (home & away).
•Collaborate with Performance and Coaching staff in a multi-disciplinary team.
•Maintain up-to-date medical records and contribute to evidence-based practice.
•Assist in the production and maintenance of Medical Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
•Support the medical injury and illness audit.

Essential

•BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
•CSP & HCPC Registration.
•FA Level 5 ATMMiF (or equivalent trauma qualification, PHICIS RFU).
•5+ years’ experience in elite sport
•Strong clinical skills in MSK injury management and rehabilitation.
•Excellent communicator and collaborator, with demonstrable experience of working within an MDT.
•Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, competitive setting.

Desirable

•MSc in Sports Medicine, Advanced Physiotherapy or Strength and Conditioning (or working towards).
•Multisport experience at Elite level and/ or extensive experience working in the football environment
•Experience of supporting senior athletes
