Associate Director, Bridges and Structures - UK Wide

As a key member, you’ll help lead our transformation into a solutions‑focused provider, leveraging new technologies, digital processes, and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to our clients. You will support the delivery of structural solutions across highways, rail, aviation, energy, and power sectors with a strong focus on sustainability and decarbonisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor teams in structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender and detailed designs, and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
* Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated services and high‑quality outcomes for clients.
* Drive innovation by identifying and implementing data‑driven, automated, and standardised solutions to improve project efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with UK and Global Integrated Delivery teams to optimise resources and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline).
* A professional qualification.
* Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills.
* Project management and leadership skills related to bridge design (or other disciplines).
* Strong technical design and practical problem‑solving skills.
* Background in bridge design is preferred, but experience in other disciplines and industries is also welcomed.
* Experience in asset management, structures renewals, and post‑tensioned structures, including PTSI, is particularly sought.
