Senior Radiographer

We are delighted to offer an opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly team as we expand the Exeter Nightingale Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) into Phase 2.
This multi‑site role involves rotating between the Exeter Nightingale CDC, Wonford Hospital, Heavitree Hospital and other RDUH sites as required. You will gain experience across a broad range of clinical settings:
* Emergency Department
* Orthopaedic out‑patients
* Theatres
In addition to delivering high‑quality patient care you will provide support, training and supervision of students, apprentices and Band 5 radiographers, playing a key role in workforce development.
Key responsibilities
* Rotate between assigned sites, maintaining continuity of care.
* Perform and supervise projectional radiography in all listed settings.
* Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care in line with Trust values.
* Support and mentor students, apprentices, and Band 5 radiographers.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain UKAS QSI accreditation standards.
* Participate in preceptorship and training programmes, including MSc/PhD support and sonographer training.
Qualifications and experience
* HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
* Solid grounding in projectional radiography with NHS experience.
* Desirable: interest in paediatric and/or adolescent imaging.
* Desirable: leadership experience or potential.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Working pattern
7‑day working pattern.
