What You'll Do
As our Bid Writer, you'll play a key role in securing contracts that allow us to deliver vital services nationwide. Your responsibilities will include:
Content Development – Producing clear, engaging and persuasive tender responses that reflect NRS‑UK's strengths and values. Supporting content creation and social media posts.
Bid Structuring – Ensuring responses meet specifications, evaluation criteria, and formatting requirements.
Research & Insights – Working closely with subject matter experts across logistics, supply chain and operations.
Editing & Quality Assurance – Ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all submissions.
Collaboration – Partnering with the Bid Manager, Commercial Leads, and operational teams to align messaging and strategy.
Continuous Improvement – Maintaining and enriching a library of case studies, evidence, and reusable content.
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience in Bid Writing with a record of securing contracts
Familiarity with portals such as Atamis, Proactis, Jaggaer
Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills
Strong communicator, organised, self‑motivated, and confident working to tight deadlines
A team player willing to support beyond core Bid Writing when needed
While not essential, it would be an advantage if you have:
A relevant Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, etc.
APMP or similar certification
Understanding of public sector procurement (local authority/NHS)
