Job Description
Effective Health and Safety management is a fundamental and integral component to the success of any business.
Responsibilities
* Supporting a team of H&S Consultants.
* Developing strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
* Be a supporting interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
* Accountable for supporting the quality systems within the business line in accordance with AECOM procedures.
* Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants.
* Representation and support within department and client-facing meetings.
* Contributing to internal and external working groups.
o Management of B&P incidents, SMA & observation reports, including initial review and critique of required actions.
o Development of lessons learnt, wellbeing and safety moments.
o Development of safety and well-being monthly communications.
* Managing the delivery of your own and others’ H&S/CDM outputs, in accordance with agreed scope, timescales and quality standards (e.g., gathering/compiling information to enable compilation of relevant H&S documentation).
* Support/lead on H&S related workshops.
* Attendance at relevant meetings.
* Ensure you are an effective communicator and problem solver.
* Passionate about delivering high quality consulting services to our clients and AECOM colleagues.
Qualifications
* Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft suite).
* Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to challenge positively and engage.
* Ability to manage relationships effectively, identifying and resolving issues at the earliest possible opportunity.
* Supporter of social and CSR activities, promoting a positive and enjoyable workplace.
* Full UK or EU driving licence.
