At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, transitioning to the majority of your working week from September 2025. 'Away from home' includes attending one of our office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
* Participating in fully supportive training to develop your skills and confidence for the role.
* Answering calls from individuals experiencing various health issues (from physiotherapy to cancer treatment) and advising them on their claims.
* Occasionally declining customer requests, using judgment to gather information, find answers, and prioritize customer interests in every decision.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Our phone lines are open from 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-5pm on Saturdays and Bank Holidays. You will work 37.5 hours weekly on a rota basis, with a generous shift allowance. We value wellbeing and work-life balance, so shift patterns will be communicated well in advance for planning purposes.
Induction & Training:
Induction dates are scheduled for 26th June, 10th July, 24th July, 7th August, 28th August, and 11th September 2025. We provide a career development framework reviewed biannually for two years, with clear progression paths. Full training and support are provided, and opportunities to study for a professional Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII) qualification, paid and supported by AXA, are available once you're up to speed.
What you’ll bring:
* No prior experience required—ideal for those starting a career, switching sectors, or entering a head office environment from customer-facing or retail roles.
* A friendly, approachable manner and strong team spirit.
* A genuine desire to help others and a willingness to learn.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with comfort managing multiple priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
