Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your accounting skills, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities. The ideal applicant will need experience with QuickBooks or Xero accounting software programmes and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero
* Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded
* Assist with invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
* Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
* Prepare reports related to accounts payable and other financial activities
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
* Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records
Experience
* Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or in a similar finance role
* Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks or Xero is essential
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
