This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office, although we will consider remote working options depending on your location.Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000+ bonus
About the role:
Data driven businesses need people to understand, handle, cleanse and distribute data in a way that is clear and accurate. This role is crucial in supporting the BI team in organising and handling diverse data including pricing, reporting and analysis.Part of ourCommercial team, you’ll be at the heart of our pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring that our travel experiences are competitive. You will assist in proposing, setting up and monitoring promotional campaigns, analysing market trends, and ensuring pricing accuracy across various destinations and markets. Your data driven insights will help guide decision-making, allowing us to be competitive and provide our customers with the best possible travel experiences.
* Assist in setting up promotions, including promo codes, terms and conditions and ensuring alignment with our strategies.
* Develop and support the implementation of promotional proposals across various markets and stakeholders.
* Monitor daily repricing activities to reflect cost changes, market trends and competitors.
* Support brochure pricing and ensure pricing accuracy.
* Work closely with various team to analyse promotional campaigns and pricing strategies.
* Analyse trends, competitor pricing and promotional activity to provide actionable insights.
* Prepare and supply data reports to internal stakeholders.
* Use Power BI to develop and maintain pricing reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
* Use available resources to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of any relevant IT or BI fields, including emerging technologies.
* Support the yield and capacity processes as outlined by the Yield Manager/BI Team Leader, contributing to the team’s overall strategy.
* Provide basic Power BI user training to internal teams, enabling them to understand and navigate BI reports, and dashboards effectively.
