Overview
We have opportunities for two Part Time Support Workers - Supported Living to join the team at James House based in Northwich, Cheshire CW9 7DE. The service consists of 14 flats and is home to adults with various mental health and learning disability conditions. Salary £12.60 hourly. Hours 16 weekly. The successful candidate will be required to work one 14 hour shift per week to fulfil contracted hours.

Responsibilities
* Support adults on a person-centred basis to live independently and move towards independent accommodation.
* Assist with medication and support access to the community and domestic tasks; days are varied and no two days are the same.
* Build relationships with service users and colleagues, using patience and a positive attitude.
* Provide on-the-job training and support, with opportunities for professional qualifications if desired and required for the role.
* Uphold the values of kindness, empathy, and readiness to respond to whatever comes their way as part of the team.
Qualifications and qualities
* We are not narrowly focused on formal qualifications; we value your personal values and ability to build relationships with service users and staff.
* Patience and a sense of humour are important traits.
* Willingness to learn and participate in safeguarding training and checks as part of employment (DBS and references checks).
* Legally entitled to live and work in the United Kingdom.
Requirements and training
You will receive on-the-job training and the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications in Health and Social Care or related fields if desired and required for your role.
