My client is a newly established architectural firm based in Norwich, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Junior Planner to join their dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of their projects.
Your new role
As a Junior Planner, you will manage routine planning applications from initial enquiry through to securing permissions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and submitting planning applications in compliance with UK regulations.
* Coordinating with sub-consultants such as heritage, ecology, and transport specialists.
* Responding to queries from planning authorities and ensuring timely resolutions.
* Monitoring application progress and maintaining accurate records.
* Staying up to date with planning policy and legislation changes.

What you'll need to succeed
* Experience: 12-24 months in a planning role (Essential).
* Education: Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or related discipline (Preferred).
* Skills:
o Strong understanding of UK planning regulations.
o Excellent communication and organisational skills.
o Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively.
* Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
