Job Description:
We currently have a rare opportunity to join an award-winning, dynamic estate agency client of ours. In this role, you can be based solely from the Cheltenham office, or alternatively, you can work across three offices—Gloucester, Cheltenham, or Worcester (a few days in each at a time)—depending on your preference.
This role supports the busy Property Management team in an administrative capacity, offering excellent opportunities for growth and development. Tasks include managing data entry, liaising with tenants and landlords, coordinating appointments, answering calls, and handling general office administration.
If you are passionate about developing your career and would excel in a supportive environment, this could be the job for you! No previous office experience is required as full training will be provided. If you come from retail, leisure, or hospitality industries and are looking to transition into an office environment and progress within administration, this role is ideal.
The company values its staff highly and provides an environment where they feel appreciated, supporting training and development along with benefits such as:
* 22 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service + your birthday off
* Longevity rewards and bonuses
* Corporate team-building days and events
* Additional leave during your wedding month & enhanced parental leave
* Industry qualifications (ARLA) and membership fees paid
* Cycle to work scheme
As the Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Property Managers with daily admin tasks across the portfolio
* Maintaining accurate records on property management software
* Coordinating and booking maintenance appointments
* Communicating with tenants, contractors, and landlords via phone and email
* Assisting with tenancy renewals, deposit returns, and compliance documentation
* Handling queries and ensuring issues are addressed appropriately
* Scheduling property visits and preparing follow-up reports
* Providing general office support to the lettings team
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (1-hour lunch). Flexible working hours can be discussed for the right candidate.
Salary: Up to approximately £27,000 per annum – negotiable depending on experience.
