Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing dental implant and fixed-prosthesis center, is looking for a skilled CRNA to join our team at our office in Reading, MA. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, with patient satisfaction and well-being as our top priority. At Nuvia, our CRNAs are efficient with their time, self-motivated, and always put patient safety first. An ideal candidate has experience practicing independently and with nasal intubations; we are willing to train the right candidate. Our CRNAs are respected leaders in the Center, which has a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.
This position is PRN. Report at 6:30 - First surgery starting at 7am. 1099- contractor.
Responsibilities
* Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
* Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
* Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
* Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
* Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
* Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
* Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
* Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
* Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful
