Key Responsibilities Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition sessions in core GCSE subjects (e.g. Maths, English, Science) Assess individual learning needs and tailor sessions accordingly Work closely with case workers, schools, and carers where appropriate Track and report on student progress Provide emotional support and encouragement as part of a trauma-informed approach Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times About You Essential: Strong subject knowledge in at least one core GCSE subject (Maths, English, or Science) Experience working with vulnerable children or young people Ability to build trust and positive relationships with learners Excellent communication and organisational skills DBS check (or willing to undergo one) Flexibility to travel within Islington or provide online sessions Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or tutoring qualification Knowledge of trauma-informed practice Experience with EHCPs, LAC (Looked After Children), or children with SEND How to apply: If you are interested, please send a copy of your CV over to (url removed)
