Job Title: Protection Adviser
Location: Remote (Must be UK Based and will require occasional travel into one of our Colchester, Peterborough or Wakefield offices)
Rewards: Basic salary of £25,000 plus commission OTE £45K - £50K
Hours: Mon-Fri working three early shifts 9am-6pm and two late shifts 11am-8pm.

Through our range of individual brands we specialise in facilitating the sales of new homes working with housebuilders, lenders and a nationwide network of estate agents. We offer a broad range of Mortgage Services together with Part Exchange, and Assisted Move. We work with most of the UK’s top 20 housebuilders.
In 2023 we handled over 15,000 mortgage applications. Our Helpline teams and Mortgage and Protection Advisers have considerable knowledge and experience of mortgage products that are particularly geared towards the new homes market, as well as having established relationships with key mortgage lenders. Protection Adviser Responsibilities
You will be part of a team who are responsible for proactively managing customers’ protection applications and needs, which will involve keeping in regular contact with our clients, and appointed insurance companies delivering high levels of customer service at all times.
As a Protection Adviser, you will have a proven track record in offering protection advice and ideally you will hold a CeMAP 1 qualification although this is not essential. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively on your own as well as in the team environment,
Main Purpose Of Job
* Retain existing protection policy arrangements taken out by our customers.
* Minimise lost commission as a result of customers deciding to cancel protection application arrangements within the group.
* Arrange suitable protection policies according to individual customer need.
* Proactively contact our customers who have not made any mortgage protection arrangements to identify and fulfil protection needs.
