Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading technology company in Berkshire to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor. This role involves hands-on management of daily accounts payable activities, staff mentoring, and contributing to related projects.
Reporting to: Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable Tasks:
2. Processing invoices
3. Authorising supplier payments
4. Handling escalated payment and invoice queries
5. Approving expenses
1. Supervisory Tasks:
2. Setting and monitoring KPIs
3. Providing training and mentorship
4. Conducting staff reviews and appraisals
1. Additional Tasks:
2. Developing and streamlining processes
3. Optimizing system usage
4. Enhancing accounts payable reporting
Requirements:
* Knowledge of accounts payable processes
* Experience in a senior or supervisory finance role
* Attention to detail and system proficiency
* Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
