A high‑growth, technology‑enabled business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support the CFO and leadership team during a key phase of international growth.
This is a hand‑on, senior finance role with broad responsibility across financial control, group reporting, regulatory reporting and oversight of international finance operations. The role plays a central part in strengtheningernance, improving financial processes and ensuring scalable reporting across a multi‑entity, cross‑border structure.
The Role
1. Full ownership of monthly management accounts and group consolidation.
2. Managing financial control, balance sheet integrity and audit readiness.
3. Oversight of regulatory and statutory reporting.
4. Responsibility for intepany accounting, VAT, tax and transfer pricing.
5. Oversight of finance operations across the UK and international entities.
6. Leading the transition of overseas accounting activity into a more robust in‑house model.
7. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost control and procurement activity.
8. Managing and developing junior finance team members.
9. Driving process improvement, automation and system enhancements.
The Ideal Profile
10. Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
11. Experience within a regulated environment would be a distinct advantage.
12. Strong background in multi‑entity group reporting and consolidation.
13. Excellent balance sheet control and audit experience.
14. Exposure to international finance operations and cross‑border accounting.
15. Sound understanding of VAT, tax and financialernance.
16. Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and process‑driven.
17. Confident working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
18. Extensive UK experience, with the right to work in the UK without restriction or sponsorship.
