The Role The operations team are looking to expand the direct team in Engineering by recruiting Multi Skilled Engineers to join the team at Stalybridge. This will be a 3 shift rotating pattern. Working within a Production environment out multi skilled engineers are responible for providing a responsive engineering service to the sites operations teamto ensure high levels of machine availiblty, efficiency, reliabliity, safety, quality standards are achieved and improved upon. You will make rational and informed decisions with regard to breakdown solutions and be resonsible for providing effective and long term solutions to continuously improve machine reliability. Responsibilities To provide engineering support to the department with regard to both breakdowns and PPM. Responsible for identifying necessary part and equipment requitred for repairs and improvements. To carry out both electrical & mechanical installations with skill set. To make rational and informed decisions about breakdown solutions and completion of individual projects. To carry out electrical & mechanical repairs within scope of ability & requirements. Execute planned & unplanned maintence activities to an agreed standard, ensuring safe working always carried out Reactive and Preventative maintenance. Ensure all sites assets are maintained to hign standard, meet site requirements and are reliable. Use SAP to capture all miantenance activities ( training will be provided) To perform on relevant engineering KPIs. Ensure a robust and clear communicated safe system of work is applied for all activities that you undertake. Ensure parts are booked out correctly to help control stock levels in stores. Be able to work effectively as a team not only with engineering team but also production. Knowledge and Experience HNC preferred Multi skilled engineer Experience of working within a production or services environment - preferably print or FMCG (3-5Years) Ability to demostrate electrical/mechanical maintenance skills and faultfinding. Capable of using PLC I/O as a diagnostic tool.
