Job Title: Workshop and Trailer Mechanic (HGV Industry) Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire Job Type: Full-Time Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off Payment: £43k - £45k + overtime We are looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop and Trailer Mechanic to join our clients well-established team in Scunthorpe. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trailers and vehicles. Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately. Perform pre-MOT inspections and ensure all work is DVSA compliant. Work on braking systems, suspension, lighting, hydraulics, and other trailer components. Keep accurate records of work completed, inspections, and repairs. Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Requirements: Previous experience in a trailer or HGV mechanical role (minimum 2 years preferred).
