Job Description

Our client is a dynamic, people-centred organisation operating in a fast-paced sector. They are growing their HR function and are seeking a capable HR Assistant to provide day-to-day HR operational support. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, develop practical HR skills and contribute directly to employee experience and HR initiatives that matter. Day to day responsibilities will include:

* Deliver accurate HR administration including onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of employee records
* Process HR paperwork: contracts, changes to employment, right-to-work checks and personnel files
* Support payroll and benefits administration by preparing documentation and liaising with payroll/benefits providers
* Maintain the HR information system (HRIS) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
* Assist with recruitment tasks: job adverts, interview scheduling, candidate communications and pre-employment checks
* Prepare routine reports and metrics to help monitor absence, turnover and other people-data
* Respond to general HR enquiries from staff in a professional and timely manner
* Support HR projects and compliance activities as required

Applicants will be CIPD Level 3 qualified and have previous experience in HR administration, recruitment and an understanding of basic employment legislation and data protection principles. You will have strong administrative ability with high attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.
