We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced Outreach Lead to shape and lead our developing outreach provision.
About the Role
This is a pivotal role where you will play a key role in:
1. Reducing persistent absence and improving student attendance
2. Supporting the re-engagement into education for vulnerable students
3. Designing and delivering targeted interventions in collaboration with families and professionals
4. Support students on mainstream sites as well as at our Nurture hub
5. Model excellent practice
6. Share resources to share with Mainstream schools and families

We are seeking a confident and compassionate professional with:
7. Proven experience working with young people with complex SEMH needs
8. A strong understanding of safeguarding, attendance frameworks and inclusive education strategies
9. Excellent communication and partnership building skills

This post is for 30 - 35 hours per week (negotiable), 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 staff development days) and is offered on Kent Scheme E (KR7) (£27,852 - £29,716 per annum). Actual salary will be dependent upon number of hours worked. The successful postholder will be required to start at 8.30am and work their hours over 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
