Whats the role?
1. Conduct discovery research to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities
2. Plan and facilitate usability testing (moderated and unmoderated)
3. Work with Digital Analysts to interpret behavioural data and validate assumptions
4. Run workshops with stakeholders to align on problems, explore ideas, and prioritise solutions
5. Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
6. Contribute to and help evolve our design system and design standards
7. Present and clearly articulate your work, process, and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
8. Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices
9. Collaborate in cross-functional squads, working iteratively to improve and deliver value
What we're looking for
10. 35 years experience in UX design roles, ideally working on complex web platforms
11. Strong user research skills, including planning and conducting interviews, usability tests, and surveys
12. Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data to inform designs
13. Experience designing end-to-end experiences, from early discovery through to high-fidelity UI
14. Proficiency with tools such as Figma (or similar) for wireframing, prototyping, and design
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
16. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed
17. Experience with internal tooling or SaaS platforms (desirable)
18. Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
