SEND Caseworker - Merseyside (Hybrid, 2 Days On-Site) We're looking for an experienced SEND Caseworker to join a local authority team in the Merseyside area. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days in the office each week, during which you will travel across the region visiting schools and supporting children and young people with SEND. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of children and young people with SEND, supporting statutory processes including EHCP assessments and annual reviews. Liaise with parents, schools, health professionals, and multi-agency partners to ensure timely and effective support. Draft and amend EHCPs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with statutory guidance. Monitor and review provision, supporting children's progress and outcomes. Contribute to quality assurance and compliance within the SEND team.Requirements: Previous experience as a SEND Caseworker or EHCP Coordinator in a local authority setting. Knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015.
