This is a part-time role with responsibility for the development of players in a specific age group. Core Responsibilities Planning and delivering high quality, fun training sessions that are age appropriate. Connecting and communicating effectively with young players to create a positive and creative environment. Aligning session design and outcomes to our Forest Green Rovers academy philosophy. Identify High Potential individuals and improve them within sessions. Ensure that all activities are compliant with the EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) regulations and safeguarding standards. Additional duties as reasonably requested by Academy Lead Foundation Coach. To adhere to the Club’s Safeguarding Policy at all times. To promote a safe and healthy working environment for all Players and staff. To promote a professional image of the Club and themselves at all times. To contribute to identifying and undertaking initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. To work with and support other team members as required ensuring effective and efficient service is developed and delivered. You will be expected to seek ways of updating and improving personal skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to your own job role.
