2026 Electro-Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship
About the Role: At WSP you will join a global community of engineers, scientists and advisors as a paid, full‑time, permanent employee. You will receive full training combined with real, on‑the‑job learning and work with dynamic teams on a wide range of projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on multi‑disciplinary services to support energy projects and deliver a net‑zero future.
* Support the full range of power generating assets from conventional generation to renewable assets such as wind and solar.
* Aid in shaping the communities of tomorrow, embracing change and achieving excellence.
The Apprenticeship: You will start your Degree Apprenticeship in September 2026, attending block placements at the University of Nottingham and working toward a full undergraduate degree in Electro‑Mechanical Engineering. Support includes induction, training days, online content, on‑the‑job experience and access to professional registration programmes. The apprenticeship typically takes 5‑6 years to complete.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate:
* 5 GCSEs Grade C/Level 5 or above including English, Maths and Science.
* Achieved or predicted A‑Level grades BBB (or equivalent), including Maths at A‑Level. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma with grades DDM and a further Maths component.
