Who You Are An experienced Housing Advice/Prevention/Homelessness Assessment Officer who can hit the ground running and effectively manage a varied caseload. You have a deep understanding of the Part VII Housing Act 1996, the Homelessness Reduction Act, and other relevant legislation and statutes. With practical experience in delivering high-quality service under pressure, you thrive in a fast-paced environment. What the Job Involves You will be part of the Housing Options duty service, completing assessments, and undertaking preventative and relief work to address homelessness. You will conduct thorough homelessness inquiries, manage casework, and draft s184 decision letters. The role requires flexibility, with an expectation to be office-based 50% of the time post-induction, which typically lasts two to four weeks based on competency.
