Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Clairleigh Nursing Home in Bromley. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents. Your efforts will help create a welcoming environment that aligns with our commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the nursing home
* Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing
* Ensure all common areas are tidy and inviting for residents and visitors
* Assist with laundry services as needed
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all
* Collaborate with other staff members to support resident needs
* Participate in training sessions to enhance cleaning techniques and protocols.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good communication skills, particularly in customer service settings
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the home.
* Previous experience in healthcare or hospitality environments is a plus.
* Full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be hard working off a smart appearance and willing to work as part of a team. Hours are 8:30 to 3.00pm with half hour break 6 hours per day 18 to 19 days a month.
* Alternate weekend working is require.
* Some laundry work will be required.
