About the role
As part of a busy Residential Conveyancing team based in North Dorset, Shaftesbury, you will manage a varied caseload covering sales, purchases, mortgages and transfers of equity, including rural properties. The position can be full‑time or 30+ hours per week, with hybrid working available.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and negotiate residential property transactions.
* Manage sales, purchases, mortgage arrangements and equity transfers.
* Handle rural property challenges and support the residential property department.
* Communicate with clients, keep them updated, and provide excellent service.
* Utilise case management systems for documentation and caseload management.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years as a residential conveyancer.
* Competent residential property lawyer with broad experience.
* Strong legal skills and confidence handling diverse files.
* People‑oriented, team‑focused, excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Adaptability to a fast‑paced team environment.
