Cornwall VSF is seeking a person-centred individual to lead on all aspects of engagement with grassroots voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) partners, alongside directly managing a newly funded £1.2m lottery funded programme supporting the delivery of infrastructure and resources across the sector. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a mixed skills set in both programme and contract management and stakeholder engagement to lead this challenging but exciting new programme of support for Cornwall.
This role involves a start to finish project management approach, alongside targeted delivery in relation to sector development to achieve a defined programme of support and delivery. The manager will lead on all aspects of engagement with partners, communities, commissioners, and stakeholders, strengthening the visibility and voice of the VCSE sector, specifically focussed on grassroots and small community organisations.
Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing programme and contract management, developing our approach to business support for VCSEs, managing stakeholder relationships, leading on direct delivery of support and resources, contributing to programme evaluation and reporting, and promoting lived experience and person-centred approaches throughout. The role will involve facilitating learning and collaboration through the Human Learning Systems (HLS) model and promoting systems change as a means of improving community led outcomes.
Reporting to the Director Team and working collaboratively with the engagement team, programmes teams and comms, the postholder will play a crucial role in the delivery of programmes and engagement, and overall visibility for Cornwall VSF in these areas of work.
Due to the nature of the role, the position may be offered as a two-year contract initially (with a view to extend) or could be applied for as a secondment opportunity. If applying as a secondment, please seek approval from your manager in advance of submitting.
