We are seeking a candidate eager to start or develop a career in NHS finance.
The successful candidate will be actively studying CCAB/CIMA, with a proven track record in effective financial management. They should possess strong management and communication skills, along with excellent analytical, technical, and IT skills gained within the Public or Private sector. The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple and conflicting deadlines, and experience working in a diverse team are essential.
Your Future Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Management Assistant, you will provide high-quality, accurate, and timely financial management advice, monitoring, and reporting services to various Divisions.
Supporting the Senior Financial Management Assistant, you will deliver effective monitoring and reporting, becoming a key contact for budget holders and managers within the Divisional team. Acting as the Division's accountant, you will support and contribute to finance projects across the Trust.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the month-end process, preparing the financial position for your division(s), and providing financial input into service development, including accurate costings. You will also handle invoicing for the division(s) and participate in financial reconciliations.
