How this role contributes to our business: As a SQL BI Developer at Katchr, you’ll play a key role in delivering intelligent, reliable, client-facing data solutions. You’ll join our close-knit team of technical specialists, working in a highly structured environment built on interrelated SQL scripts and business logic. You’ll be confident working with complex data sources and happy solving ETL issues to ensure that our reporting is accurate, reconciled, and useful. You’ll also design data connectors that extract and process data from a wide range of sources – from HR system APIs to CRM data lakes – then bring it all together into meaningful dashboards and reports. What the day to day looks like: Designing data connectors to extract and process information from diverse sources (e.g. APIs, data lakes, CRMs) Configuring and customising ETL SQL scripts to reflect client-specific business rules Creating dashboards using our proprietary tools Reconciling, validating, and balancing complex data sets Demonstrating your work in regular team reviews and managing feedback Exploring new tools and techniques to keep growing your skill set What we look out for: We’re looking for people who think clearly, learn quickly, and care about doing things properly. Technical Skillset: Core strengths: Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL Working with complex data models and business rules Attention to detail and a structured, logical mindset Nice to have: Experience with Power BI or Azure Data Factory Familiarity with BI or data warehouse environments Background in the legal or financial sectors Experience with PMS migrations or SQL development for a PMS vendor Where you’ll work: Due to the nature of our customer data, you’ll need to attend our Huddersfield hub during onboarding to ensure the right training is provided under secure conditions. From there, we support all our team members to choose a working location that’s right for them whether it be our core office or their home.
