You’ll work closely with an experienced and approachable senior financeleader who will give you both support and autonomy. It’s the kind ofenvironment where your ideas are welcomed, continuous improvement isencouraged, and no one is stuck in a “we’ve always done it this way” mindset.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role with a strong commercial andleadership angle. Day to day, you’ll be:
* Owningthe full monthly management accounts process, ensuring deadlines are metand reporting is accurate and meaningful
* Producingdetailed variance analysis and commentary, working closely withoperational teams to understand the drivers behind performance
* Leadingon balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and supportingschedules
* Supportingbudgeting and reforecasting processes, working with a range ofstakeholders
* Playinga key role in year-end and audit processes
* Businesspartnering across different areas of the business, helping non-financestakeholders understand the numbers
* Identifyingand driving improvements in systems, controls, and reporting processes
* Managingand developing a small team, including setting objectives and runningregular one-to-ones
* Handlinginternal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
It’s a role where you’ll need to manage multiple priorities, but you’llbe trusted to do so without being micromanaged.

What you’ll bring:
* Qualified(ACCA/CIMA/ACA), Part Qualified, or QBE with strong experience
* Solidbackground in management accounts and month-end processes
* Experienceproducing balance sheet reconciliations and working to deadlines
* Confidenceworking with stakeholders and explaining financial information clearly
* Previousexperience mentoring or managing junior team members, or ready to stepinto that responsibility
* StrongExcel skills and a naturally analytical mindset
* Aproactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
