Integrity Education Solutions are supporting one of our valued partner schools in Essex in the appointment of an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their dedicated specialist education team. This is a fixed-term to permanent opportunity, starting in January 2026, offering a daily rate of pay based on teacher scale and experience. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and sensory or physical impairments. Key Responsibilities * Plan, deliver and evaluate highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. * Support pupils with complex needs, including autism, sensory impairments, and profound or multiple learning difficulties. * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred education. * Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence, communication, and confidence. * Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches based on assessment data and individual targets. * Contribute to curriculum development and innovation within the specialist setting. * Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure consistent support for each child’s development. The Ideal Candidate * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * Has proven experience working with children and young people with additional or complex learning needs. * Demonstrates a creative, flexible approach to teaching and curriculum design. * Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills. * Is collaborative, proactive, and reflective, with a strong commitment to inclusion and wellbeing. * Has experience in special or alternative provision environments (desirable).
