IT Support Engineer
£35k-£38k

A well-established law firm in Greenwich is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused IT professional to support a busy legal environment, providing high-quality technical support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first- and second-line IT support to users across the firm, both remotely and on-site
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and system issues in a timely manner
* Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, phones and peripherals
* Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments and standard business applications
* Assist with user account administration, onboarding and offboarding processes
* Support meeting room and conferencing technology, including AV equipment
* Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers and support logs
* Liaise with third-party IT providers and suppliers to resolve technical issues
* Assist with system upgrades, technology rollouts and continuous service improvements
* Support IT security initiatives, patching and compliance requirements
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
* Good understanding of networking, hardware and troubleshooting principles
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
Desirable
* Experience within a legal or professional services environment
* Exposure to ITIL or structured IT service management processes
* Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or IT security best practices
