Day Recycling Sorting Operatives
Location: Rushden
Salary: £12.35 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm
Night Shift Also Available: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (£12.35 per hour)
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently recruiting for Recycling Sorting Operatives on behalf of our well-established client based in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals to join a dedicated team within the recycling and waste management industry.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out general yard labouring tasks in an outdoor environment.
* Sorting recyclable materials (such as plastic, wood, metal, and paper) from general waste on a moving conveyor system.
* Ensuring all waste is correctly segregated and stored in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.
* Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and adhering to strict housekeeping standards.
* Complying with all site Health & Safety rules and regulations at all times.
* Identifying and reporting any contamination or hazardous materials to supervisors.
* Assisting with manual handling tasks, loading/unloading, and other site duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment (preferred but not essential).
* A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves standing for long periods and manual handling.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Good attention to detail and a safety-first attitude.
Working Hours & Pay
* Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm – £12.35 per hour
* Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm – 6:00am – £12.35 per hour
