An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and
enthusiastic Band 7 Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor at BHRUT.

You will work autonomously and as part of the multidisciplinary team. Maintain effective communication with clients, manager, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

To act as a clinical expert, advising clients on OHWB requirements for working in the health care setting and related work environment., Developing and facilitating a client centred approach to care, referring to the Nurse Manager as appropriate.

Assist the Clinical Services Manager in the development and implementation of departmental protocols.

To ensure that clinics run to meet needs of the client group ie to time and with appropriately timed slots (availability of vaccines, pathology services).

Main duties of the job

To participate in the development and maintenance of a full Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service for employees of Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, and other organisations when required (approximately 15,000 individuals have access to the department).

To act as supervisor to specialist nurse advisors and to deputise for the Nurse Manager in their absence.

Assist the Nurse Manager in the development of the service and in the delivery of departmental objectives.

Provide professional leadership and support to all staff within the service.

5. Experience of working on external contracts
