What does the role entail?
* Support a team of approximately 500 colleagues with employee satisfaction, performance, retention, and effective communication at sites.
* Support the Employee Relations agenda and manage relationships and key processes with unions at sites.
* Implement Business HR Priorities such as labour flexibility, OMS, LPMC, payroll optimisation, and standardisation of T&C's.
* Provide HR support for start-ups, business wins, losses, and transfers.
* Ensure robust support for employee performance management, including sickness, discipline, and grievances.
* Assist managers with workforce planning, organisation design, resourcing needs, agency management, and future talent requirements.
* Advise managers to ensure compliance with HR policies.
What do we need from you?
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience, but don't hesitate to apply if you don't meet every criterion—talent and potential are what matter most:
* Previous HR experience within a logistics environment
* Strong case management skills in Employee Relations
* Union experience is advantageous
* A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
* Project management support experience
* Experience with business change initiatives such as TUPE, redundancies, restructures, and employee engagement
