Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Officer to join an NHS Trust on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This role focuses on providing high-quality technical support to staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and resolving escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated service desk tickets within agreed timescales.

Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
*
Liaise with 3rd line support teams and external suppliers when necessary.
*
Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and asset management.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a 2nd line IT support role.
*
Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.
*
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a customer-focused environment.
