Job Reference: RD1438001BraQSLocation: Braddan, The Isle of Man, United KingdomType of Contract: PermanentSalary: 0Join Dandara’s long-established Isle of Man team in a key commercial leadership role, managing cost control, procurement strategy, and financial performance across one or more high-profile residential and mixed-use developments.What you will doTake ownership of commercial management across projects. Preparation of initial site budgets.Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts.Lead procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiations.Manage and report cost control, forecasts, and risks.Provide commercial input at land, technical, and design stages.Chairing and preparation of minutes for Subcontract pre-order meetings.Preparation of subcontract documentation.Subcontract payments, variation claims and final account settlement.Coordination with contractors on site.Site visits and inspections.Liaison with external consultants with regard to cost issues.Payment of utility services as required.Obtain risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation from subcontractors.Taking off and scheduling materials for passing to buyers for ordering.Preparation of monthly cost reports for submission to Directors.Preparation of external valuations for finance reporting and funding agreements.Continuous financial advice throughout project to Site Management team.Attendance of Project Review meetings.Ensuring cost control on site throughout the development programme to completion.Maintaining site files and records.Ensuring correct cost coding of project costs.What you will haveYou will have experience as a quantiity surveyor running multiple sites and will have excellent communication and time management skills.Degree in Surveying or similarWhy join Dandara?Since 1988, Dandara has been designing and building award-winning homes and commercial properties.
