To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Group Assistant Accountant to come and join our team at our Head Office location - Ibstock, Leicestershire ( LE67 6HS ). As our Group Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for: ? Managing PLC overheads and assisting in budgets/forecasts ? Preparing/managing the IFRS16 model for the group - obtaining accurate information around leases, assisting with VAT return preparation, managing the group expense systems and assisting with preparation of statutory accounts ? Supporting with the preparation, standardisation and improvement of business reporting across the business ? Ad-hoc project and improvement - including implementation of a new group reporting system In order to be successful as our Group Assistant Accountant, we would like to ideally to have/be: ? Part qualified recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) ? The ability to multi-task under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines ? Process oriented approach and focused attention to detail with high standards for quality and accuracy in his/her work product ? Challenging/questioning approach ? Ability to present ideas and concepts to both senior stakeholders and team members ? Creative approach to problem solving with the ability to work with the resources available ? IT/systems - JDE & Hubble & OneStream preferable ? High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Think you can make a difference?
